Memories of Art Class-

texts of materials, air, dialogue, and their texture

The purple elephant without consideration of color in reality, the annoying masks which appeared twice during high school with ‘material bag’, the prohibbed sharp nose drawing, the cloud, sun, and apple tree as common theme of landscape drawing… What would you remember, when it comes to the first material, atmosphere or sentence in your art class?

“Memories of Art Class” is an ongoing narrative recollecting process since Jan.1 2016, via one scene to another, tracing memories together. From the curiosity of why the sentence occurred frequently in Taipei: once being a student from arts department 7 years ago, friends gave friendly joke as “You must draw very well!” and “I couldn’t draw at all.” These moments triggered the curiosity of looking at it, see where these things could lead us to.

It is a saying that, once it starts, you will remembered 4.35 clips of memories in art class.
