成人的美術課記憶手冊:安置說明

坐在某人的記憶旁邊,或許是一種,推敲當下可以發展出什麼動態的方法。《成人的美術課記憶手冊:安置說明》,提出四個可以安置語言的動詞,附上說明體例、並有圖片在罩,借到一些譬喻,邀請成人讀者辨認並接續「美術課相關記憶」的語言安置建議,讓卡住或轉太快的語言交由動詞,以「讓更多人認識對應的語言方法」為近景,是本次動詞接棒的任務。

回溯今日成年人於其義務教育階段的語言與空間記憶,延續自2016年起的「美術課記憶計畫」,回看「美術課」以及美術課「旁邊」和「後面」等地發生之事,包涵各種畫面形成的殊異、聲音、年紀、眼神、髮型、惡趣味、幼時的愛恨情仇百無聊賴…,也有天份、有以前很喜歡、潛規則、更有課堂的隔壁…。輕盈或負重,不斷在所有語言之間,找到適合排列的方式。試以習慣將「美術白癡」幽自己一默的成年人句型,把句點延後至有一些距離的地方。事後分析,場外凝視,和說明——在充滿愛的世界裡,我們要幫彼此先準備好逃跑的路線,這樣,往前的路看起來會更長一點。

 

Art-Class-Memory-Manual for Adults:for Language Settled

In the world full of love, we need to prepare routes for escaping for each one. By that, the way of forward looks longer.

It might be possible to develop a series action by sitting besides someone’s memory. “Art-Class-Memory-Manual for Adults:for Language Settled” aim at providing four verbs with grammar to settle the language in memories by 

borrowing some metaphor, adding bit examples, layout with pictures, inviting adults read suggestions, and proposed solutions, among the art classes they had, and did not have. 

Voice, age, gesture, bad jokes, impressive or boring school time were all included, as well as “talented”, “hidden rules” and more. Light or heavy, like or dislike, here, it’s surveyed afterwards. It was based on the project “Art Class Memories” since 2016 from the start point, Taiwan, where it is common that people describe themselves far from drawing and art.

展覽簡介

展覽「知識的過程」發展自2016年起的「一群人的自學」計畫,延續計畫中對「知識生產過程」的關注以及對「何謂當代知識」的實驗,本展同樣視藝術為生產另類知識的方法,並在此基礎上,細究一種更利於建構平等與動態關係的「知識的過程」。本展由孫以臻策劃,邀請現任的國中美術老師、視覺藝術家與美術課記憶研究者——曾品璇、施昀佑與洪芷寧——參展,從至今仍以固定時數施行於台灣義務教育的美術課出發,重新嘗試以(另類)知識作為實現平等關係的方法,並在你我共享的校園經驗中,透過重訪美術課的記憶與創傷經驗,省思過往在理性邏輯及功利主義觀點下,往往犧牲了個人情感與記憶完整表達的「知識觀」。

The exhibition "The Process of Knowledge" is developed from the on-going project "Selves-Educating" founded in 2016. The project centers on the process of knowledge production and the experiment of re-defining contemporary knowledge. Seeing art as an alternative approach to produce knowledge, we're concentrated more on the process of knowledge which can contributed to dynamic and equal relationship. This exhibition is curated by Sun Yi-Cheng and invites art class teacher, researcher and artist, Hong Tze-Ning, Yunyu "Ayo" Shih and Tseng Pin-Hsuan. Starting from art class which is still implemented at a fixed number of hours in Taiwan's compulsory education, we rethink (alternative) knowledge as a way to build up equal relationship. Meanwhile, with the sharing experience in the campus, by revisiting and surveying on the memories, even trauma, in the art class before, we reflect on the "view of knowledge" with rational logic or utilitarianism as the highest principle, and prefer to sacrifice the complete expression of personal emotions and memories.
